History - Grandview Lodge has a long history dating back to the arrival of the Roehl brothers in 1860 who first settled on the land. Many years later, Otto Roehl, built "Roehls", the start of Grandview on one of these farms. The resort expanded over the years, and was run by the Darker family as Grandview Lodge from the 1930s until the 1980s. Since 1999, it has been owned by the Grandview Lakeside Community Club, a community of cottage owners. Many of the families that came to Grandview Lodge in years past, continue to visit Grandview Lakeside today.
Cottage - The name of our cottage is Riverview 1. As our guest, you have access to the entire Grandview property. Riverview 1 is a two story "housekeeping cottage", fully equipped with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen, living and eating areas. The unit was recently renovated in 2017.
